Oregon wedding expert Diane York is originally from the Netherlands. Since relocating to southern Oregon from Seattle over thirty years ago, she has designed, planned, and co-ordinated countless events on behalf of Portland’s arts community. Her “impeccable productions” for local opera and theatre companies, as well as other arts organisations, have included festive galas, annual dinners, auction fund-raisers, awards ceremonies, and of course weddings, which remain her true passion.

Diane’s varied professional background includes managing a successful hair and nail salon and leading travel groups to Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Southeast Asia. Her decades of experience as a community theatre producer and travel excursion host form an ideal foundation for customising events and planning them down to the smallest detail.

Diane is a member of the Board of Directors of a prominent theatre in Portland, Oregon. She is also affiliated with the International Special Events Society (ISES), the Oregon Wedding Association, the Informed Notaries of Oregon (INO)*, the Netherlands North America Chamber of Commerce (NNACC), and the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Greater Portland (CVB). In addition, Diane is a three-time Oregon Senior Olympics gold medallist and previously qualified for a local 2005 marathon.
