When I officiate, you can count on my personalized approach, which may include any or all of the following:

• Two meetings with you to develop a one-of-a-kind ceremony that will deeply move your friends and family.
• Preparation of your ceremony, including access to a variety of sample scripts and vows. Feel free to pick and choose from them, and don’t hesitate to include special poems or personal sentiments.
• Assistance with obtaining and filing your marriage license.
• Arranging the two required witnesses.
• Consideration and respect for multicultural or multiethnic traditions.
• Confirming the ways you’d like to be introduced as a married couple.
• Traveling to your chosen location (whether that’s inside the Bug Light lighthouse in South Portland or on Bar Harbor’s picturesque shoreline).
• Recommendations for venues, musicians, and vocalists.

Keep in mind that late afternoon ceremonies followed by evening receptions are most common, so plan your date accordingly.

My fee for the above services is $350, which includes travel to and from the ceremony. All other meetings will take place at my Portland office.

If you’d like me to organize and direct a rehearsal (highly recommended!), there is an additional fee of $100 plus travel expenses.

Travel costs are included for weddings within Greater Portland. Please ask about mileage fees if your wedding will be in the Bar Harbor or Boothbay Harbor areas.
